The “Ballabio Vineyards”
The Estate lies on the first hills of Casteggio, the ancient Clastidium, 20 km from Pavia and only 40 km from Milan.

In keeping with its surroundings, it spreads out over a total of 75 km, 50 of which consist of the “Ballabio Vineyards”, planted with the most noble cultivar in the area: Croatina, Merlot, Pinot Nero, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and partly with olive groves containing cultivar such as Leccino, Frantoio and Bianchera.
The Balestrieri, Morone, Mairano, Campone and Tronconero vineyards cover the rest of the area.

All vineyard and olive grove activities aim to respect the local ecosystem and provide an agriculture with low environmental impact.
With this kind of philosophy, the company acts as guardian of the traditions of this land, privileging the achievement of superb quality over quantity.
